Datuk Adnan Hj. Puteh

Datuk Adnan Hj. Puteh has been practising for more than 38 years. He was a former partner and co-founder of Messrs. Cheu, Adnan & Razi.

Datuk Adnan Hj. Puteh was admitted to the Sabah Bar in 1988 after chambering with Messrs. Rayner & Co. and Messrs. Jayasuriya Kah & Co. He has been a full time legal practitioner specializing in corporate laws, residential and commercial projects, developer’s license approval, due-diligence, joint-ventures, banking works and in Sabah land laws. He was also a legal consultant in the Sabah Land Utilisation Policy.

Datuk Adnan Hj. Puteh is currently the President of the Sabah Muslim Lawyers Association. In his earlier practice, he had the opportunity in conducting litigation in civil, criminal and industrial cases.

Hj. Jamadi Saleh

Hj. Jamadi Bin Saleh started his legal profession as an advocate & solicitor in Kuala Lumpur. He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 5 April 2006. In 2010, Hj. Jamadi Bin Saleh was also enrolled as an advocate of the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak. Since his admission to the Malaysian Bar in 2006, he has always been a practicing lawyer, and he is qualified to practice laws in both Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah. He has been dealing mostly and extensively on land and corporate matters for East and West Malaysia as well as Islamic banking, business documentations and civil and criminal litigation.

Hj. Jamadi Bin Saleh has been involved in templating financial documentations for foreign and local financial institutions, especially Islamic financing such as Musyarakah Mutanaqisah documents. Apart from that, he also has wide-ranging experience in drafting various legal documentations in real estate for both corporate and individual Clients. He is also proficient in litigation matters especially that involving commercial disputes, land matters and criminal actions.

Adelia binti Datuk Adnan joined Messrs. Adnan Puteh & Saleh as Legal Associate in March 2015 after successfully completed her pupillage with the firm and called to the Sabah Bar as Advocate and Solicitor of High Court in Sabah and Sarawak in the state of Sabah. She is currently a Partner of Messrs Adnan Puteh & Saleh with more than 10 years of experience in legal practice.

Adelia has extensive experience in both litigation and advisory work, with a primary focus on criminal and civil litigation. She has represented clients at all levels of the Malaysian courts, including the Magistrates’ Court, Sessions Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, and Federal Court. Her criminal practice covers a wide range of matters, including investigations and prosecutions involving the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM), anti-money laundering offences, and other serious criminal cases. In civil litigation, she regularly handles defamation, contractual, and tortious disputes for both individual and corporate clients.

In addition, Adelia advises and represents clients in industrial relations and employment matters, including domestic inquiries, disciplinary proceedings, misconduct investigations, and unfair dismissal claims before the Industrial Court and Labour Department. She also handles conveyancing transactions, including property sales and purchases, tenancy agreements, and financing matters, providing practical and efficient legal solutions to clients.

Azizah Saleh was called to the Bar on 30 April 2025 and brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the corporate sector, particularly in the oil and gas industry. She specialises in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic business planning, with extensive experience advising senior management on business and regulatory matters. In legal practice, she has gained hands-on experience in civil litigation, including drafting cause papers, preparing submissions, conducting legal research, and assisting in client consultations.

Prior to joining the legal profession, she held key positions at Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB), MISC Berhad, and Celcom (M) Berhad, where she was involved in strategic planning, credit evaluation, business operations, and organisational transformation initiatives. She also has experience in contract management, stakeholder engagement, and risk assessment, supported by a strong background in financing and credit evaluation. As a proud Sabahan, she combines legal expertise with commercial insight, enabling her to provide practical and effective solutions in both legal and corporate environments.

MUHAMMAD MUJIBURRAHMAN BIN AMIR PAISAL

Muhammad Mujiburrahman joined the firm in 2024 and  he was admitted to the Sabah Bar in December 2025. He has vast experience in civil and criminal litigation, as well as exposure to Syariah matters. His practice includes legal research, drafting, and handling court procedures across various levels of the Malaysian judicial system. In civil litigation, he has been involved in a broad range of matters, including contractual disputes, tenancy and partnership disputes, negligence claims, defamation, road traffic accident claims, judicial review proceedings, Industrial Court matters, and appeals before the Court of Appeal. He also has experience in non-Muslim family and estate administration matters, including divorce proceedings, probate applications, and letters of administration.

In criminal litigation, he has assisted in serious and complex cases involving offences under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, Section 302 of the Penal Code, the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007 (ATIPSOM), as well as cases involving fraud and sexual offences.
